Set Java 8 as the default JDK for all builds Restore the default settings for Java 8, so that all existing builds are all getting the same basic variables: - JAVA_HOME pointint to Java 8 JDK - PATH having Java 8 by default Bazel, in the absence of JAVA_HOME, tries to automatically detect where Java is and use it. After the migration to Debian Buster which includes both Java 11 and Java 8, Bazel was getting confused and used the wrong default JDK. Change-Id: Iede708271d8ef6cb40eaf9a59d78ed5d81dcdb37
This project uses Jenkins Jobs Builder [1] to generate jobs from yaml descriptor files.
To add new jobs reuse existing templates, defaults etc. as much as possible. E.g. adding a job to build an additional branch of a project may be as easy as adding the name of the branch to an existing project.
To ensure well readable yaml-files, use yamllint [2] to lint the yaml-files. Yamllint can be downloaded using Python Pip:
pip3 install yamllint
To run the linter, execute this command from the project's root directory:
yamllint -c yamllint-config.yaml jenkins/**/*.yaml
Yamllint will not fix detected issues itself.
