Reuse All-Users repository handle for account caching The accounts cache sits directly on the hot path of virtually all Gerrit operations, including Git pushes/fetches and REST API requests. Previously, account lookups and cache loads opened All-Users through the repository manager. JGit can reuse cached repositories, but resolving their FileKey still adds overhead when the project-to-FileKey cache is empty or disabled with core.useFileKeyByProjectCache=false. The preceding change introduced a provider that retains a shared All-Users handle. Complete its adoption in the accounts cache by using that handle without closing it in either lookups or cache loads. The provider manages its lifetime and releases it at server shutdown. Release-Notes: Improve account-cache performance by reusing All-Users. Change-Id: I3dae6280fca75d9befdc62a3fc5fa994b20ff097
Gerrit is a code review and project management tool for Git based projects.
Gerrit makes reviews easier by showing changes in a side-by-side display, and allowing inline comments to be added by any reviewer.
Gerrit simplifies Git based project maintainership by permitting any authorized user to submit changes to the master Git repository, rather than requiring all approved changes to be merged in by hand by the project maintainer.
For information about how to install and use Gerrit, refer to the documentation.
Our canonical Git repository is located on googlesource.com. There is a mirror of the repository on GitHub.
Please report bugs on the issue tracker.
Due to spam abuse, membership in the repo-discuss Google Group is required in order to create issues. See the announcement for more info.
Gerrit is the work of hundreds of contributors. We appreciate your help!
