  "message": "DirCacheEntry: Do not treat gitlink entries as smudged\n\nDirCacheEntry.isSmudged() returns true whenever getLength() \u003d\u003d 0 and the\nobject ID is not Constants.EMPTY_BLOB_ID.\n\nHowever, a submodule gitlink entry (FileMode.GITLINK, mode 160000)\nrepresents a commit reference rather than a blob: its length in the\nindex is always 0 and its object ID is the submodule commit SHA (never\nEMPTY_BLOB_ID).
