Conclusion

The solution described in Solution - solution - Gal's initial solution was chosen for the following reasons:

1. It is a simple solution that creates the necessary feature.
2. No other viable solution was offered.
3. It also creates additional functionality for the current revert endpoint.

Implementation Plan
